Our traditional farmhouse from the 19th century, lost in the heart of the Marais Poitevin, was renovated using ecological methods to stay in keeping with this protected environment. The old farmhouse has been able to keep a remarkable authenticity with its traditional architecture, reed ceilings, cut-stone fireplaces and large wilderness park with pond. Canoes and bikes are available for enjoying the wild Marais only a few meters away. We welcome you with local products (honey, cheese and wine) and a rich history of our region.

We have a small castle from the 16th century, hidden by hundred year-old trees. Located in the middle of the countryside, you’ll find ruins of a typical fiefdom: a mill, a farm and a fortress. Used as a hunting lodge in the 19th century, the castle seems to be frozen in time, making it the perfect place to explore! My guests can enjoy the park and the entire house. I also provide them with information and history on local heritage in the Perche area.

My house is a priory built in the 15th Century, converted into a manor house, typical of the old houses of the region which are coated with lime and red sand found locally. Several houses and small churches in nearby historic towns are coated in the same fashion. When I welcome guests, we take a tour of the house if they wish and I offer them a typical welcome drink from the Sarthe : wine from Jasnières (a very tasty white wine from Chenin cepage from the Loire hillsides), and the famous "rillettes" of Le Mans.
