Passionate about heritage and places of historic interest, we succumbed to the charm of this old silk factory. Located in the heart of La Bastidonne, part of the Luberon Regional Park, the building is classified as a "House of Architectural Heritage". Its rarity in Provence is explained by the arrangement of rooms which explain all the stages of the silkworm’s breeding activity. Being an ambassador would be a great honour and reflects our desire to preserve and continue the renovation of the silk factory in the respect of this tradition.

Our sheepfold dating from the 17th century is located along the Riez-Valensole plateau. Built on a Gallo-Roman site, it is made of stone and pillars mounted with lime mortar. We are very invested with the park of Verdon, and also produce organic olive oil. We share our love of the land, its history and this unique place with our guests. We teach our visitors eco agriculture practices that respect soil life, nature & plants. Our life values are simplicity , respect, friendliness and sharing and our motto is: "what is true, generates beauty."

The first mention of the "Saint-Pierre de Mejans" priory dates back to 1118: it was part of the Abbey of Saint André de Villeneuve-lès-Avignon confirmed by Pope Gelasius II. After the Revolution, it was seized, sold and turned into a silk factory whilst keeping its vineyards & farmland. Now owned by the same family for nearly 40 years, the priory is one of the most emblematic places of the region with its gothic chapel, courtyard and vaulted rooms built from Rognes stones. Our priory has been a vineyard since 1994.
